Theterrorist state Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine on Tuesday morning, August 15: explosions went off in several regional centers from the south to the west. So far, we know of arrivals in Lviv, Lutsk, Dnipro and Cherkasy region - with fires, casualties and victims.

An air alert has been declared across the country. Before that, the AFU Air Force warned residents of the regions about the missile danger and urged them to stay in shelters (to view the photo, scroll to the end of the news).

Dnipro

OBOZREVATEL correspondent reported that around 04:00 at least eight loud explosions were heard in the city. The Air Force at the same time claimed enemy missiles in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Monitoring channels indicated that the enemy probably launched ballistic weapons along Dnipro.

Dnipro residents reported a fire in one of the city districts - rescuers and all necessary services went there. Also residents found rocket debris in the streets.

The head of the regional military administration Serhiy Lysak confirmed the arrival in Dnipro: the hit occurred in one of the enterprises, where the fire covered more than 800 square meters - it was promptly localized. As a result of the attack suffered two people: a 59-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and will be treated at home, a 70-year-old man was hospitalized in a state of average severity.

"I thank the rescuers for their well-coordinated work. Big thanks also to the defenders of the sky. During the morning massive attack defenders from the air command "East" shot down over Dnipropetrovsk region seven cruise missiles X-101/555", - he said.

Zaporizhzhia

At around 04.30 the sounds of explosions were also heard in Zaporizhzhya and Zaporizhzhya district. Russian troops shelled the region with S-300 missiles, the Telegram channel Radar Ukraine wrote.

Khmelnytsky region

The first deputy head of Khmelnytsky regional military administration Serhiy Tyurin confirmed the explosions in the region.

"We hear explosions in Khmelnitsky region. Works air defense. Stay in shelters! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!" - is said in the message.

Volyn

The aggressor country Russia launched a missile strike on Lutsk on Tuesday morning. It came to one of the industrial enterprises. City mayor Igor Polishchuk emphasized that all emergency services are working at the scene.

For his part, the head of the regional military administration Yuriy Pogulyayko specified that during the attack in Volyn worked air defense forces, but, unfortunately, there is an influx in the regional center.

"So far we know about two victims. Their condition will be reported later. All relevant services are working on the spot. Please do not spread information anywhere about the details of the incident," he added.

Later pointed out that the terrorist act of the Russian Federation led to victims. In particular, three people died. Three victims were treated by medics.

Lviv region

Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovy noted that during the attack, air defense forces shot down many Russian missiles over the region, but "there is a hit in the regional center."

According to him, residential houses were hit by the enemy - a fire broke out there. All services were working at the site. People began to be evacuated from their homes.

As of 07:00, the head of the regional military administration Maxim Kozitsky said that in Lvivshchyna we are talking about destruction as a result of falling debris of downed missiles.

In particular, in Lviv they fell on apartment buildings on Patona and Kakhovska streets: there was a fire, there is destruction and victims. People were evacuated.

Small fires were also recorded in other parts of Lviv - rescuers promptly put them out. In addition, in one of the hypermarkets in the city due to the fall of debris from the missile collapsed ceiling. It is also known about the damage to vehicles.

At the same time, ten houses were damaged inStavchany, people were slightly injured. Houses were also damaged in Suhovol - no casualties.

In total, in Lvivshchyna, this Russian attack damaged more than a hundred dwellings, smashed more than 500 windows and destroyed a kindergarten. In particular, the missile flew into the yard of the kindergarten. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and four victims received the necessary medical care.

Cherkasy region

In the morning, the enemy launched missile strikes in Cherkasy region. In particular, a missile hit the territory of a private enterprise in Smela. Another one hit the territory of a medical institution.

"Fortunately, did without casualties. At the same time, water and heat supply networks were damaged. Part of the city is without water. Law enforcement and utility services are working on the site," - said the head of the regional military administration Igor Taburets.
