Russian jet accidentally drops another bomb halfway, this time in occupied Luhansk region: evacuation is announced
Russian jet has once again accidentally dropped a guided bomb haldway. This time, the "accident" occurred in the city of Zymohiria in the occupied territory ofthe Luhansk region.
According to Russian media, the bomb was found on February 1. The munition, presumably a FAB-500, was just lying on Parkhomenko Street.
The occupiers had to evacuate the residents of the street.
On Friday, February 2, they plan to inspect and remove the bomb.
According to the Russian independent Telegram channel ASTRA, Russian military aircraft have accidentally dropped at least five FAB-250 bombs in the Belgorod region earlier.
As previously reported, on January 27, FAB-250 was found in the village of Postnikov, Korochansky District, Belgorod region, Russia. The locals were not evacuated. On the same day, the same bomb was found in the village of Streletskoye, Belgorod district, and the authorities had to temporarily evacuate about 150 residents within a radius of 500 meters from the site of the accident.
And on January 21, FAB-250 was accidentally dropped halfway near the village of Ionovka in the Korochansky District of Belgorod region. The bomb was found in a reservoir and partially damaged a local dam.
The UK military intelligence explained these frequent accidental drops by insufficient training and fatigue of the crews, who as a result perform tactical operations poorly.
