Russian command in Donetsk region ordered its military to use civilian equipment: Atesh explains what it means

The command of the Russian occupation army is forcing the use of civilian vehicles for military purposes. This order was given to the artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donetsk region.

In addition, the invaders were forbidden to use military uniforms and insignia. This was reported on Telegram by the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars "Atesh."

An agent of the movement from among the Russian military in the Donetsk region confirmed that the invaders are being forced to disguise themselves as locals. For this purpose, the enemy uses transport for local residents.

According to the guerrillas, the Russian command ordered to transport ammunition in cars, trailers, or minibuses, with a limit of 10 shells per vehicle.

Atesh noted that such actions of the Russians are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention and the rules of warfare, as well as another crime of the Russian occupation forces.

Moreover, such actions by Putin's army not only endanger civilians but also serve as a tool for provocations aimed at accusing the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As a reminder, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko, said that Russia is not really seeking serious negotiations to end the conflict. On the contrary, the Kremlin is trying to accumulate resources to wage war until 2027.
