In the third year of its full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia has decided to put President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the wanted list. He allegedly violated an article of the Russian Criminal Code.

The name of the head of the Ukrainian state appeared in the database of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs." Vladimir Alexandrovich Zelensky, 25.1.1978. Wanted under an article of the Criminal Code," the text reads. The specific article is not specified.

The database also indicates the place of birth of the President of Ukraine (Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region).

Earlier, the Russian Interior Ministry put Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk on the wanted list. And before that, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov. The aggressor has taken similar measures against many Ukrainian politicians and military officers.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, in March 2024, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow sent SBU Head Vasyl Malyuk to custody in absentia for two months. The head of the SBU said that this decision "does not deserve any attention."
