The head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration Vitaly Koval spoke about the consequences of the Russian terrorist act. The official recorded a video message against the backdrop of a large-scale fire (to view the footage, scroll to the end of the news).
"Tonight Rivne region was subjected to a massive attack by drones. Unfortunately, an infrastructure object, an oil depot in Dubenshchyna is destroyed", the official said.
According to him, an emergency response headquarters has been deployed there. 45 rescuers, 14 units of equipment and a fire train are involved. The relevant investigative commissions headed by the heads of the region's law enforcement agencies are also working.
"Radiation and chemical background are at the normal level. Evacuation of the population will not be applied," Koval assured.
Air raid alarm in the Rivne region lasted from 03:09 to 04:21. Several waves of drones were launched throughout the territory of Ukraine. The AFU air forces warned about the threat of enemy missiles and UAVs.
