Rescuers clear debris: video of the consequences of the Russian missile strike on a house in Lviv has appeared

Russia hit an apartment building in Lviv

Rescuers in Lviv are removing the rubble of a residential building that was damaged by a Russian missile on the night of July 6. About 60 apartments and 50 cars were destroyed, and there were victims.

Other emergency services are working at the site, and residents are being helped, said the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxym Kozytkskyi. In his Telegram channel, he published a video of the aftermath of the attack (to view it, scroll to the end).

"Russia is targeting residential buildings... Thanks to all the services that promptly arrived to the place and help people," he commented.

 

The footage shows the destroyed facade of the house on four or five floors, specialists of the State Emergency Service extinguished the fire, as well as dismantled the rubble together with law enforcement officers.

 

Kozytskyi, having published another video from the scene, pointed out possible victims.

"Of course, there will be dead and injured... That's how the 'Russian world' comes to Lviv," he stressed, while at the same time thanking the services for their work to eliminate the consequences.

For his part, the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, pointed out that as of 05:20, we are talking about eight wounded. As a result of the Russian missile attack, about 60 apartments of an apartment building and a number of other houses were damaged. There windows flew out and there is serious damage. Up to fifty cars were smashed with construction debris around.

"An operational headquarters is working at the site. People are being prepared for resettlement," he said.

Around 06:00 it was officially reported that there were three victims of the Russian terrorist attack. The bodies of people were taken out from under the rubble.

Until emergency workers can remove the rubble and get all the people out, Stryiska Street in Lviv to be blocked.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine on the night of Thursday, July 6, with cruise missiles from the Black Sea and kamikaze drones. Air raid alarm was declared in all regions, explosions were heard in the west.
