President of the Czech Republic: War in Ukraine will end either with the defeat of one of the parties or exhaustion

Czech President says how the war in Ukraine could end

Czech President Petr Pavel has said that Ukraine and Russia will not be able to agree on ending the war. According to him, until now, the terrorist country of Russia has offered only unfavorable terms of negotiations for Ukraine.

At the same time, the Czech president emphasized that the Kremlin has no right to impose any conditions on Ukraine at all. This was reported by Radio Prague International.

The Czech president is convinced that the war in Ukraine will end either with the defeat of one of the warring parties or with exhaustion and the realization that no one will be able to fully achieve their goals. Pavel also believes that there may come a time when Moscow and Kyiv realize that continuing the conflict means only new costs, suffering and losses without hope of success.

"All of Russia's proposals so far have been virtually dictates. The Kremlin has presented its list of conditions that it, as an aggressor, has no right to impose," Pavel said.

At the same time, the Czech president said that it may take a long time before the situation reaches this point, and the losses of both sides, both in terms of economic and casualties, are already very significant. He also added that the situation is beginning to have negative consequences, including for Russia.

As a reminder, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala decided not to talk about helping Ukraine, including the Czech initiative to find the shells, during the summit in Paris. He did so when he learned that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, known for his pro-Russian stance, was among those present.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in addition to the commitment to purchase 300,000 artillery shells for Ukraine, the Czech Republic has been given the opportunity to purchase an additional 200,000 rounds of ammunition. This refers to an initiative under which EU countries will purchase 800,000 NATO standard caliber shells for Ukrainian defenders.
