Poland is preparing to transfer more than 50 Krab howitzers to Ukraine - media

Krab howitzers for Ukraine

The Polish government is preparing to hand over 56 Krab howitzers to the Ukrainian army. Warsaw has previously donated 18 of these vehicles as military aid, and they have performed well in the battle against the invaders.

This was reported by the Polish news agency PAP and confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The contract for the new batch of howitzers has already been signed by representatives of both countries.

"AHS Krab is a self-propelled howitzer on a tracked chassis manufactured by Huta Stalowa Wola SA. Poland handed over 18 such vehicles to Ukraine from the reserves of the Polish Army," the article says.

As a reminder, back in April, General Zaluzhny testified in the AHS Krab case. The systems successfully perform combat missions at the front, destroying manpower and equipment of the Russian army.

"We have studied the life and capabilities of these machines and are providing manufacturers with suggestions for their improvement," Ukrainian soldier Volodymyr said of the Poles' help.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the second group of Ukrainian soldiers has completed training in Germany on how to operate the Patriot air defense system. About 70 soldiers and officers were trained.
