"Our heroes": Zelensky showed a video with a brigade that fought back spoil heap near Horlivka and raised Ukrainian flag
Zelensky told about the success of the Armed Forces in the area of Horlivka
Ukrainian soldiers from the 24th Brigade named after King Danylo recaptured a spoil heap in Horlivka. The attack aircraft captured enemy positions.
Now the flag of Ukraine is flying over the spoil heap in Horlivka. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Our heroes, the assault group of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the royal brigade. Despite the difficult conditions, they recaptured one of the spoil heaps near Horlivka and captured the enemy's positions. Now our flag is flying over there. Horlivka is Ukraine! Donbas is Ukraine!" the Head of State wrote.
Zelensky also posted a video with the defenders.
"Happy Day of the Land Forces of Ukraine! Ukrainian Horlivka is behind us. Our Donetsk is in front of us. Donbas is Ukraine! We will definitely win!" the soldiers who were installing the flag assured.
They also promised that the blue and yellow flag would soon fly over Horlivka itself, as well as over other Ukrainian cities currently occupied by Russia.
During the operation, the defenders also replenished the exchange fund: they captured five occupants at the positions on the spoil heap.
