On the morning of July 16, explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Luhansk and Berdyansk. The occupants complained of a long-range weapons attack.

Russian occupiers have already complained that the Ukrainian military struck Luhansk, allegedly using long-range cluster munitions. A huge column of black smoke rose at the site of the explosion.

Eyewitnesses also reported the detonation of ammunition after the explosions in Luhansk. However, there is no information yet on which object was hit.

The explosions were confirmed by the Russian occupation administration. They occurred on the southwestern outskirts of the city near the Miusynska mine.

At the same time, explosions were reported in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Region. Local residents heard loud sounds in the center and other areas of the temporarily occupied city.

Russian occupants reported on the alleged work of air defenses.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian defenders have partial success in the Berdyansk direction and are consolidating on the achieved borders, inflicting heavy losses on the occupants.
