Occupants are preparing an attack under the Ukrainian flag: in the crosshairs of the ZNPP. Exclusive details

Occupants may strike at ZNPP in the near future

Russian occupiers are preparing a provocation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Enerhodar. The invaders may soon simulate an attack on the nuclear power plant under the Ukrainian flag.

This was reported by sources to OBOZREVATEL. The enemy wants to make it look like the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the plant to provoke a scandal. To do this, the invaders are expected to strike the nuclear facility themselves.

After that, the Russians want to invite representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to ZNPP and stop the hostilities around the plant.

Such intentions of the enemy are related to the fact that Ukraine has put forward a plan to demilitarise Zaporizhzhia NPP. Russia, in turn, wants to take preventive measures.

At the same time, the aggressor country will intensify the spread of fakes about Ukraine's alleged use of chemical and other prohibited weapons. This information and psychological operation will be aimed at both Russians and international audiences.

Later, the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed the information provided by OBOZREVATEL's sources. They clarified that the Russians are preparing this provocation in the next few hours.

"To do this, a strike will be carried out directly on the territory of the ZNPP. After that, an emergency leak of radioactive substances will be announced. Ukraine will traditionally be blamed for the incident," the statement said.

The DIU added that in this way the enemy wants to provoke a detailed investigation, during which all hostilities will have to be stopped. The occupiers hope to get a long-awaited pause, which they want to use to regroup and stop the Ukrainian counter-offensive.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- Russian occupation forces continue to militarise the territory of Zaporizhzhia NPP. The invaders are not only not reducing their presence at the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, as world leaders and the IAEA call on Russia to do, but have also turned three ZNPP units into a logistics and military base.

- Earlier, the enemy also threatened to lock the plant's employees in the plant if the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an assault.

- At the same time, Energoatom CEO Petro Kotin said that during the counter-offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, our troops would be forced to bypass the territory of the nuclear power plant in Enerhodar.
