NRC: the occupants started simulating "elections" in Kherson and Luhansk regions, threatening the population

The Russian occupiers have organized "early voting" in the temporarily seized lands of the Kherson and Luhansk regions. They are holding fake pseudo-elections, forcing the local population to assist them under threats.

The Russians have scheduled the so-called elections for September 8-10. This is reported by the National Resistance Center of Ukraine.

It is noted that collaborators from fake "election commissions" accompanied by the Russian military men go around the houses and conduct "voting at the place of residence".

Earlier, the same procedure was arranged in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

"This is necessary for hiding the lack of turnout in the 'full-fledged voting', which will be held on September 8-10 and that is also stretched over three days for the same purpose," the NRC said.

It is also known that the occupiers have already drawn a 5% turnout based on the results of the first two days, although this is impossible to verify.

National Resistance Center urged Ukrainians not to open their doors to the occupiers and, if possible, to leave their homes for the period of this fall aggravation of the enemy. After all, the Kremlin needs the elections only as a propaganda picture and their results are determined in advance.

Earlier it was reported how fake Russian "administrations" in the temporarily seized territories of Ukraine are trying to force Ukrainians to vote in pseudo-elections by all means. The occupiers tell residents fables, saying that they would "allow" them to vote even without a Russian passport.

At the same time, the enemy increased pressure on the local population with the demand to obtain passports of the aggressor country in Zaporizhzhia.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the Kremlin will try to legitimize the occupation and war crimes committed by the Russian army in Ukraine as early as in September 2023. Because of the planned pseudo-elections, the DIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine appealed to the residents of the occupied territories.
