Minus almost 900 units of enemy equipment and weapons: Ukrainian Armed Forces show Russian losses over the week

Between April 21 and April 28, 2024, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 849 units of enemy weapons and military equipment. In addition, our defenders destroyed 9 missiles and 128 UAVs.

This was reported by Lieutenant General, Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavliuk. Ukrainian troops also killed about 6,620 enemy personnel this week.

Russian troops' weapons/military equipment suffered significant losses. Namely:

- 50 tanks;

- 95 armored combat vehicles;

- 229 artillery systems;

- 4 MLRS9 air defense systems;

- 280 units of vehicles;

- 45 units of special equipment.

As a reminder, over the past day of fighting at the frontline, the Ukrainian Defense Forces killed and wounded 1096 soldiers and officers of the occupying Russian army. This brings the total number of invaders "demilitarized" on our land to 466,150.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Defense Forces have also shot down 2,124 cruise missiles, 348 airplanes, 325 helicopters, and sank 26 ships/boats and one submarine of the Russian Armed Forces.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in Odesa region, the defenders shot down two Russian ZALA and Orlan-10 drones from a Yak-52 aircraft. The military could have installed a machine gun inside this two-seat single-engine training sports monoplane, or one of the crew members could have fired.
