US President-elect Donald Trump has criticized Ukraine for using US missiles to strike Russian territory last month. He noted that he did not understand why the United States allowed Ukraine to strike deep into Russian territory using American weapons.

"I strongly disagree with sending missiles hundreds of miles into Russia. Why are we doing that?" Trump said, "We're only intensifying this war and making it worse.

He emphasized that he wanted to end the Russian-Ukrainian war because he considered the deaths of so many people to be real madness.

"The number of dead young soldiers lying in the fields everywhere is staggering. It's crazy what's going on," the newly elected US president said.

When asked about his position on Ukraine, Trump said that he intends to use US support for Ukraine as a tool to influence Russia in negotiations to end the war.

The article also notes that during the election campaign, he claimed that he would be able to achieve a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine in just 24 hours after coming to power. However, Trump has now acknowledged that this task is more difficult than he previously claimed.
