In Melitopol, after the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP, there is panic among the occupants: they disguise themselves as civilians and buy food - the media

In the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia, panic broke out among the Russian military themselves after the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam was blown up. Most began abruptly changing into civilian clothes and buying food at high prices.
However, it is not difficult to distinguish the outsiders from the local Melitopol residents - both by their speech and the way they dress. This was reported in his Telegram channel by a local Ukrainian publication.
It is noted that on June 7, a group of camouflaged occupants was spotted in the Zerkalny shopping center, which is located in the lower part of the city.
"There were a lot of Russian Federation military. All dressed up. All had their faces covered, they were walking around the store with weapons. They bought a lot of stuff, then got in their cars and drove on," local residents shared their observations.
According to them, Zerkalny is considered to be the most expensive supermarket in seized Melitopol: "The prices there are cosmic".
In addition, obscure movements were observed along Hetmanskaya Street in the area of the former city police department building. Now there is no longer a police sign. The pseudo-law enforcement agency moved to the state security building on Ivan Alekseev Street.
"But the city department has turned into a torture chamber. The TDF tortures prisoners accused of terrorism every day. There are a total of 10 prisons in Melitopol," the report says.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, the Russian military destroyed not only the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, but also undermined a number of ponds in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhya. Before that, they also raised the water level, which eventually led to flooding as well.
