"He is an inadequate person": Zelenskyy names Putin's main goal in the war against Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the main goal of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the war against Ukraine is the destruction of our country. The head of state also said that the Russian dictator is an "inadequate person."

He said this in an interview with French media outlets BFM TV and Le Monde, and the video was posted on the president's Telegram channel. He also recalled the March 6 missile attack on Odesa by the occupiers, the day he and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis were on an official visit there.

He noted that Russia's ballistic missile attack, which took place a few hundred meters from where he and the Greek leader were, demonstrates that Putin is "an unhealthy person."

"When people ask what Putin's goals are... He is an inadequate person. The first goal is the destruction of Ukraine and all living things in Ukraine by any means necessary," Zelenskyy said.

As reported, during a ballistic attack on the port of Odesa on the morning of March 6, the occupiers fired a missile from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Therefore, very little time passed between the detection of the threat and the hit. The strike took place when President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis were in the port.
