Grown under sirens, harvested under shelling: a grain harvest destroyed by Russians was shown in Odesa. Photo

Russia will answer for all its crimes

In recent days, Russian occupation forces have intensified attacks on the Odesa region. As a result of Russia's latest terrorist acts, not only people and buildings are suffering, but also the Ukrainian harvest.

This grain was grown under sirens, harvested under fire, and now it is being destroyed by the "second army of the world" that is fighting against food. The images, taken by photographer Kostiantyn Liberov, were published by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

He noted that the Russians, who had previously shouted that there was no artificial famine and that the 1930s Holodomor was not a deliberate genocide of Ukrainians, are now openly trying to provoke a new famine and genocide.

"Grown under sirens. Gathered under rocket fire. Destroyed to the ground by non-humans. Today, Russia is murderers, terrorists and hypocrites who think they can leave the world on the brink of starvation. But the will of Ukrainians is unbreakable. We will rebuild everything and grow everything anew," Kiper stressed.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration also added that Russia will be held accountable for all its crimes and, in particular, for every grain it burns.

"I am convinced that the enemy will answer for every grain burned, for every day of this inhuman war! We will win, and they will burn in hell like this grain. Glory to Ukraine!" - he concluded.

On the morning of 21 June, Russian troops shelled Odesa region again. The infrastructure of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district was under attack.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on the night of 21 July, Russian occupation forces attacked the Odesa region of Ukraine with missiles for the fourth day. The Kalibr missiles launched from the sea hit an agricultural enterprise in the region, causing significant damage to hangars and equipment, and destroying 120 tonnes of peas and barley.

On the night of 20 July, Russia also fired missiles at Odesa region, destroying an administrative building in the centre of Odesa and damaging many nearby houses. There were also reports of an arrival in the region. The occupiers killed a guard at a civilian building and injured several people.
