General Tarnavskyi: Ukrainian Armed Forces stabilize defense line in three points in Avdiivka sector

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops in the Avdiivka sector stabilized the defense line in the areas of Tonenke, Orlivka, and Berdychiv. Russian offensive attempts in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Robotyne proved to be unsuccessful.

This was reported in Telegram by the commander of the Tavriia operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi. According to him, 11 more Russian invaders replenished the Ukrainian exchange fund over the past day and night.

According to the military commander, 43 combat engagements took place on the battlefield. In total, enemy losses in the sector amounted to:

– in manpower – 347 people,

– in weapons and military equipment – 1 tank, 7 armored combat vehicles, 4 artillery systems, 1 ATGM, 1 LPG, 5 vehicles;

– 255 enemy UAVs of various types;

– 1 enemy ammunition depot.

As a reminder, half a dozen occupants were taken prisoner in the Avdiivka sector on February 22. The occupants staged 61 assault attacks, 43 clashes were recorded in the Maryinka sector alone.

– Tarnavskyi said that since the beginning of 2024, Russian troops have lost 212 tanks in the Tavriia sector alone. The occupation army is being actively demilitarized by the defenders of Ukraine.

– Over the four months of the offensive in the Avdiivka sector, Russia has lost more than 1,300 armored vehicles and five aircraft. In addition, fulfilling Putin's task to capture Avdiivka, almost 50 thousand occupants were "demilitarized" on its outskirts.
