General Pavlyuk: Over 12 thousand Ukrainian servicemen trained in accordance with NATO standards

Oleksandr Pavlyuk told about the training of our army

Despite Russia's full-scale aggression and the daily challenges of war, the Ministry of Defense continues to develop professional education in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The North Atlantic Alliance's DEEP program, which has already been completed by 12,000 servicemen of our army, helps it to do so.

This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Defense Oleksandr Pavlyuk on his Facebook page. He noted that over the ten years of cooperation, more than 1,000 training events have been held, and this year's figures are almost twice as high as last year's.

"We are particularly intensifying the intensity of our joint work this year. While in 2022, about 100 events were implemented with the participation of 965 representatives of the Armed Forces, now there are already 169 events and almost 1700 participants," the statement said.

Pavliuk emphasized that it is about training academic staff, instructors and other specialists to teach planning and decision-making procedures in accordance with NATO standards (TLP, MDMP, OPP) and to strengthen language capabilities. The training of military personnel at the courses for commanders and non-commissioned officers continues.

"I would like to note that with the assistance of the DEEP program, a number of basic documents have been developed on changes in higher military education. In particular, the Roadmap for Improving Language Training in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the Concept for Transforming the Military Education System in line with NATO standards," summarized the representative of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. .

Last week, it was reported that the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets is going according to plan. Currently, our military is already learning to fly American combat aircraft directly in the sky.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, soldiers of the 71st separate hunting ranger brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove the occupiers out of their positions in one of the frontline areas. The Russian military tried to escape from the gunfire, but it did not save them.
