As a reminder, on the morning of September 16, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine issued a statement on the humanitarian response in the Kursk region.

Representatives of the ministry appealed to the UN and the ICRC to take part in the relevant activities.

"Ukraine reaffirms its strict adherence to its international obligations in these areas and is ready to provide full assistance to the UN and ICRC staff in these territories," the Foreign Ministry said.

At the same time , the Kremlin did not like Ukraine's invitation to representatives of the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross to participate in humanitarian response activities in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Moscow claims that this is a "pure provocation".
