Ukrainian troops attacked the location of Russian occupation forces in the town of Selydove, Donetsk region. According to preliminary data, the strike targeted the headquarters of the 35th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.

As a result of the attack, a number of Russian officers could have been killed. This was reported by blogger Denys Kazanskyi on Telegram.

According to him, the headquarters of the Russian occupation forces was hit with a missile. The enemy object was located in the town of Selydove in the Pokrovsk direction.

According to the published photos and videos, the Russian invaders set up their headquarters in a residential area of the temporarily occupied town.

"It is reported that the headquarters of the Russian 35th Brigade was destroyed in Selydove after a Haymars strike. There are rumors that its entire staff, including officers, was killed," the blogger said.

According to preliminary information, the attack on the Russian headquarters was carried out with the help of HIMARS multiple launch rocket system. At the same time, Putin's troops confirmed that the place was indeed hit. Moreover, the Russians do not hide the fact that the strike resulted in the death of commanders.

"For you to understand, it was not just a 'group of officers' that was killed. Russian 35th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade was literally decapitated. Commanders are not ordinary soldiers who can be quickly replaced. They are responsible for the decisions that control the units and keep the entire brigade in a combat-ready state," the occupiers complain online.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces reduced the number of the Russian occupation army by 1,210 invaders over the course of February 7. Also, 262 pieces of Russian military equipment and weapons were destroyed.
