Consequences of the Russian attack on Dnipropetrovsk region: enterprise damaged, houses destroyed, children among the victims

On the morning of April 19, Russian occupation forces launched missiles at the Dnipro region, killing eight people and injuring 29. In addition to the damage in Dnipro, there was damage in Kryvyi Rih, Pavlohrad, and Synelnykove.

Residential, industrial and railroad infrastructurewere hit. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.

According to him, during this Russian terror, some of the enemy targets (about 11 missiles) were shot down by air defense forces, but unfortunately, there were also hits. In particular, one of the enterprises in Pavlohrad was damaged.

In the town of Sinelnykove, four private residential buildings were partially destroyed and 10 more damaged. Six people died in the town, including two children. Another six people (including a child) were injured, two people were rescued.

Three residents of Kryvyi Rih were also injured in the attack.

It is confirmed that Russian terrorists have carried out a targeted massive shelling of civilian facilities of Ukrainian Railways in Dnipropetrovsk region. There are wounded among the railway workers. As a result of the attack, the Dnipro railway station suspended operations, and long-distance and suburban trains were temporarily suspended.

According to the Dnipropetrovsk State Emergency Service, a total of eight people were killed in Dnipro and the region, 29 were injured, and 14 were rescued. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing. SES psychologists are working on the ground.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his condolences to the families of the residents of Dnipro region who fell victim to Russian missile strikes on April 19. He said that the aggressor country must be held accountable for its terror against Ukrainians, and called on partners to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.
