Colonel Timoshin, responsible for Dnipro and Kremenchuk bombings, could have been killed in Kursk region: a full list of his war crimes

Russian Colonel Oleg Timoshin has probably been killed in the Russian Kursk region. This war criminal is responsible for the death of dozens of Ukrainian civilians - he ordered the attacks on the shopping center in Kremenchuk and on a high-rise building in Dnipro.

This was first reported by Ukrainian partisans, and later confirmed by investigative journalists from Bihus.Info. However, it should be noted that there have been no official reports of Timoshin's death.

According to the information currently available, Timoshin probably died in late December as a result of a strike on Lgov in Kursk region - there were reports that a number of Russian soldiers were killed too.

Later it became known that Lgov at least six Storm Shadow missiles were used to attack the location. Eight Russian servicemen were killed on the spot, and 22 others were injured and hospitalized.

Who is Oleg Timoshin?

Colonel Timoshin Oleg (born 21.06.1971) is the commander of the 52nd Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment of the Long-Range Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces (military unit 33310).

He was responsible for a series of missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine - the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Office of the Prosecutor General, put together all available evidence against the commander. In total, enemy shelling carried out under his orders resulted in 88 dead and 240 injured civilian Ukrainians.

Timoshin also ordered a strike on a residential building in Dnipro on January 14, 2023. This shelling killed 46 people and injured 79 others.

He was also involved in a missile attack on a shopping center in Kremenchuk on June 27, 2022. At the time, it killed 21 people and injured 77 civilians.

The investigation also found that, on his instructions, the Russian occupiers fired missiles at the Riviera shopping center in Odesa and the city's house of culture in Lozova, Kharkiv region, in May 2022.

And in July 2022, Timoshin ordered a strike on a multi-story residential building and the Goji recreation center in the village of Serhiivka, Odesa region. The shelling killed 14 people and seriously injured 30 others.

"Russian Tu-22M3 bombers with X-22 and X-32 cruise missiles were used for a series of strikes," the statement said.

Based on the SSU materials, the commander of the Russian air regiment was was served with a notice of suspicion under Part 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war) in absentia. The maximum punishment for such crimes is life imprisonment.

As reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported significant losses of Russian occupation forces in the Kursk region. According to him, almost an entire infantry battalion consisting of both North Korean soldiers and Russian marines was destroyed over the past two days.
