Chinese consulate damaged in Odessa as a result of Russian missile attack

The building of the consulate general of the People's Republic of China in Odessa has been damaged as a result of a night attack by Russian troops. Photos that appeared online show broken glass in the building, but it is possible that the damage is more serious on the other side.

About the defeat of the building of the consulate of the PRC reported the head of the Odessa regional military-civil administration Oleg Kiper, write local Telegram-channels. They also publish photos with the building after the night attack.

"The building of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China suffered. This was reported by Oleg Kiper", - wrote local publicks.

Damage to the Chinese consulate also confirms the people's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharenko.

"In Odessa after the missile attack the Chinese consulate was damaged. Very interesting, what will Beijing say on this?" - he wrote.

Goncharenko also published photos with the building of the consulate.

"The Chinese consulate in Odessa now looks like this. You can see the broken glass. But we can't see the other side of the building from the port side. So there is a possibility that the building has suffered more," he noted.

We will remind, on the night of July 20, the occupiers attacked the south of Ukraine.

An administrative building was destroyed in the center of Odessa as a result of the strike. Many houses nearby were also damaged - at least four people were injured, among them a child. While extinguishing the fire at the site of one of the arrivals received a heat stroke rescuer.

As of 11.00 it was known about the death of a civilian guard in the destroyed building.

Arrivals were also recorded in the Odessa region: there the invaders were aiming mainly at warehouses.

In Mykolaiv, the enemy hit a residential building in the center of the city. At 12 o'clock it is known about at least 19 victims, among them five children, the youngest is not even a year old. Also reported dead.

Five high-rise buildings were damaged, as well as garages.

As specified in the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this night Russian forces targeted houses, ports and commercial networks. The air defense forces shot down 18 out of 38 missiles and drones overnight.

In total, the enemy fired 19 kamikaze drones and missiles. At the same time, Ukrainian air defenses cannot shoot down most of the launched missiles. We are talking about four X-22 air-launched cruise missiles traveling on a ballistic trajectory, as well as seven Onyx anti-ship missiles, which are extremely difficult to shoot down due to their considerable speed and low flight altitude.

Both were launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the Black Sea.
