Artillery duels are going on constantly: Zaluzhny showed video of the work of Hyacinth on one of the most difficult directions. Video
Ukrainian artillerymen continue to damage the occupants and cover the infantry of the AFU in battles. So in experienced hands of Ukrainian defenders old Soviet weapons work effectively.
Thus, the soldiers of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandziuk showed in the work of the gun "Hyacinth". The video of the military practicing on enemy positions in one of the most difficult directions was posted online by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhny.
"There is such a good slogan: 'The sweat of the artilleryman saves the blood of the infantry'." And it's really true. We try to do our best to support our infantrymen in battle as best we can," said the artillery battery commander.
He also noted that despite the fact that the howitzers are not new, but in the skillful hands of Ukrainian artillery, they work quite effectively on enemy positions.
"Everything depends on the crew, on the people working with the weapon," the battery commander added.
Hyacinth is a Soviet trailed gun with a caliber of 152 mm. It has a range of 28.5 kilometers using fragmentation projectiles and up to 33.5 kilometers with active-reactive ammunition.
We would like to remind you that the Russian occupation troops have no resources from where to pull up resources on the left bank of the Kherson region. In this regard, the invaders are experiencing a significant "shell hunger". The Ukrainian armed forces are keeping all the enemy's logistical routes under fire control.
Also earlier, the former commander of US forces in Europe Ben Hodges explained why the counter-offensive of the AFU is slow. The US general emphasized that the Ukrainian military was succeeding despite the fact that it was going on the attack without superiority in the sky.
