Russian aviation complex in Taganrog was hit at night
On the night of December 11, explosions occurred in Taganrog, Rostov Region, Russia. As it turned out, the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex was hit.
This was reported by the Astra Telegram channel. Journalists confirmed the authenticity of the video that appeared on social media, claiming that it was filmed near the site of the missile strike.
The footage was taken near the garages, next to the parking lot of the aircraft repair plant on Tsiolkovsky Street. The attack also damaged a boiler room on this street, leaving 27 houses without heating.
The attack took place near the 325 ARZ aircraft repair plant, which is under EU, US, and Ukrainian sanctions due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The 352 aircraft repair plant is located nearby. It is not yet known whether these facilities were damaged.
It should be noted that the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex is a Russian enterprise specializing in the production of helicopters, airplanes, and other aircraft. The main testing base of the enterprise is the "Taganrog-Yuzhny" airfield.
Earlier it was reported that the night of December 11 was also noisy in Taganrog, where local authorities reported an attack by UAVs and missiles. The governor of the Rostov region said that Taganrog had been hit by a missile attack, which damaged an industrial enterprise and burned 14 cars in a parking lot. Local residents claimed that the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex was attacked.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, last night, the "cotton" was waiting for in several Russian regions. Thus, in the Russian city of Bryansk, people complained about a drone attack on an oil depot. Eyewitnesses also said that fire raged there after the explosions.
