Over the past day, 30 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline. Ukrainian defenders repelled the invaders' attacks near Avdiivka, Maryinka in Donetsk region and Pryiutne in Zaporizhzhia.

Theday before, the enemy launched one missile and 78 air strikes and 47 shellings from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Residential houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. In the Siversky and Slobozhansky sectors, the enemy launched an air strike near Strilecha in the Kharkiv region. It also fired mortar and artillery shells at more than 15 localities, including Hremyach, Bleshnya in Chernihiv region, Vorozhba, Mezenivka, Kindrativka, and Ulanove in Sumy region; and Udy, Vovchansk, Vilkhuvatka, Hatyshche, Budarky, and Neskuchne in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk sector, Topoly, Dvorichanske, Berestove, Kolodyazne, and Kyslivka in Kharkiv region came under Russian fire.

In the Lyman sector, the occupants attacked from the air near Cherneshchyne in Kharkiv region, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Spirne and Vesele in Donetsk region. Among others, Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region came under enemy artillery fire; Torske, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, the aggressor conducted air strikes in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Bila Hora, Ozaryanivka, Kurdyumivka, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region. More than 15 localities came under artillery fire, including Tikhonivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Pivnichne, Zalizne, and Nyzhnyk.

In the Avdiivka sector, the occupants conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area of Avdiivka. They also continued to launch artillery and mortar attacks on the settlements of Donetsk region, including Nevelske, Karlivka, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Pervomayske, Severne and Novokalynove.

In the Maryinka sector, our defenders continue to hold back the Russian offensive in the vicinity of Maryinka. The enemy fired from artillery at Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, the invaders shelled more than 10 localities with artillery, including Vuhledar, Vodiane, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Blahodatne, and Urozhayne in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensives near Pryiutne in Zaporizhzhia region. At the same time, it conducted air strikes near Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Robotyne. They shelled more than 15 localities with artillery, including Levadne, Malynivka, Chervone, Charivne, Pyatikhatky, Hulyaypilske, Orikhiv, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson sector, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Antonivka, Mykolaivka and Olhivka. Mykilske, Dmytrivka, Mykolayivka, Bilozerka and Kherson came under artillery and mortar fire.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as five strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Missile and artillery units hit 10 artillery pieces at the occupiers' firing positions and air defense systems.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on September 3, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued counter-offensive operations and advanced in the area of Bakhmut and in the west of Zaporizhzhya region. They also carried out operations on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the occupied part of Kherson region, which the invaders complained about.
