On the evening of Friday, February 28, Russian invaders attacked Kharkiv with Shaheds. Several UAV hits were recorded in the city near residential high-rises. The enemy also attacked a medical facility with people in it.

Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Novobavarskyi districts were under attack, and the enemy targeted the city center. In total, at least nine "Shaheds" attacked Kharkiv, and seven people were injured. Mayor Igor Terekhov wrote about it.

"Preliminarily, the attack was carried out in the central part of the city, in the area of residential buildings. Information about the victims and damage is being clarified... We have one more arrival, first in the Shevchenkivskyi district and again near residential high-rise buildings," the mayor informed.

"The second arrival is right in front of a high-rise building, the windows of the building are smashed. Information about the victims is being clarified," Terekhov added.

Later it became known about another attack on the central part of the city, preliminary, Shevchenkivskyi district.

The Russians struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv for the fourth time. Specialized services arrived at the site of the hit, the JMA reported.

The fifth strike was on the territory of a medical facility, with people inside. A fire broke out at the site of the hit. "As a result of the Shahed UAV hit, the SES workers are extinguishing the fire on the roof of the three-story building," the JMA added.

Rescuers evacuated more than 60 people from the medical facility.

Another drone hit was recorded in Kyivskyi district, this time near a gas station. "Another UAV arrival in the central part of Kharkiv. Residential buildings were damaged," added Terekhov.

A private house in Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv caught fire.

As a result of the Russian attack in Kharkiv, dozens of buildings were damaged, and fires broke out at several places where buildings and cars were hit. One child was injured by glass.

"As a result of one of the hits by a Shahed UAV in the central part of the city, the windows of an apartment building, a car dealership and a hypermarket were damaged. There were no casualties," the CMA said.
