Wiener made an absurd statement

The president of the All-Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (ARGF), Irina Viner, has expressed an absurd opinion about the superiority of female athletes from the Russian Federation in this sport, which was allegedly demonstrated by the 2024 Olympics. She called German Daria Varfolomeeva's gold medal her achievement, forgetting that the athlete left the aggressor country at the age of 12.

Wiener said this in an interview with the propaganda channel Match TV in a patriotic frenzy. An accomplice of Vladimir Putin's regime, who demanded that Russians not go to Paris under a neutral flag and now attributes Russia's victories to others, was also outraged by her exclusion from the Olympics.

"I don't understand how they do it and how Russia is not allowed in rhythmic gymnastics. But still, two Russian girls succeeded. One of them stood on the podium, named Varfolomeyev, performing for Germany, and the other, named Blizniuk, sat with the Chinese team and led them to first place at the Olympics for the first time in history. So Russia still showed that even without being admitted to the Olympics, it is the strongest in rhythmic gymnastics," Viner said.
