Residents of Luhansk, which has been under Russian occupation since 2014, reminded the occupants that their city is part of Ukraine. The activists demonstrated their position with leaflets and graffiti.

They showed the invaders and supporters of the occupiers that Luhansk is waiting to return to Ukrainian control. This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Yellow Ribbon resistance movement.

Luhansk residents with a pro-Ukrainian stance left signs in different parts of the city that read "Luhansk is Ukraine" and "Ukraine will win." They also took a photo with leaflets "Luhansk wants to go home" and "Luhansk-Kyiv. See you soon" against the backdrop of the regional center's train station. For nine years, only suburban trains have been leaving from this station.

"The occupied but unconquered residents of Luhansk continue to resist. They once again make it clear that de-occupation is inevitable and their stay here is very temporary," the statement said.

Yellow Ribbon noted that more and more activists are joining their movement. Over the past week, 13 people from the Luhansk region have done so.
