The statement by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytskyi that Ukraine is ready to provide education for children in the Kursk region is his personal opinion. The Ministry of Education and Science has not made any official decisions regarding the education of Russians.

This was said by the Ministry of Education and Science in response to Vynnytskyi's words about Ukrainian teachers teaching children in the Kursk region. The ministry emphasized that the statement "is not the official position of the Ministry of Education and Science."

Vynnytskyi suggested that "if the situation (in Kursk region) continues as it is now," then in late September or early October his colleagues will have to "develop a plan to provide education for minors" in the territory of the aggressor country. However, he emphasized that "any transfer of children from the Kursk region to the territory of Ukraine is out of the question."

Although the deputy minister only suggested "developing a plan to provide education" for Russians, he said that the Ministry of Education and Science had already discussed the possibility of merging the agricultural college in Suzha with Sumy National Agrarian University.

"There is an agricultural college in Suzha. And there is an idea to merge it with Sumy National Agrarian University. This idea has been voiced, but we have not yet made any moves in this direction," said Vynnytskyi.

"We note that the Ministry of Education and Science has not made any relevant official decisions. Mykhailo Vynnytskyi's statement is solely his personal opinion and assumptions and is not the official position of the Ministry of Education and Science," the ministry said.

As reported, against the backdrop of the operation in the Kursk region of Russia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the border of Sumy region, where he held a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and the head of the Sumy Military Administration Volodymyr Artyukh. According to the head of state, another settlement was taken under control in the Kursk region and new prisoners were captured.

As you know, Russia is sending conscripts from almost all Russian regions to the Kursk region en masse. In an attempt to hold back the Ukrainian army's offensive, the Russian dictator has once again broken his promises - he has repeatedly claimed that conscripts will not be sent to war.
