Another child who was illegally removed from occupied Mariupol by Russian invaders was returned to Ukraine. Now 17-year-old Vyacheslav is in Ukrainian-controlled territory.

This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page). They said that the boy grew up without parents and studied in Mariupol.

After the occupation of the city, the Russians deported the minor to Shakhtarsk, Donetsk Oblast. Even there, in enemy-controlled territory, Vyacheslav found a way to contact the Ukrainian authorities.

"However, the strong-spirited and shrewd kid found a way to make himself known. What followed was a lot of painstaking work by volunteers and state authorities," the report said.

On Saturday, May 27, Vyacheslav arrived in Kyiv.

His return from the occupation was attended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Service for Children of Desnyansky District of Kiev, Alina Dolzhenko, chief specialist of the department of care/guardianship, adoption and family forms of parenting, Daria Kasyanova, program director of SOS Children's Towns Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian Network for Child Rights.

"We remind you, if you have witnessed the illegal transfer of children to the temporarily occupied territory or the territory of Russia, be sure to report it to the profile specialist of the Ministry of Reintegration Natalia Emets by phone: (050) 562-03-13. You can also call the hotline of the National Information Bureau 16-48", - reminded in the Ministry of reintegration.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, earlier 6-year-old Anna-Maria, kidnapped by the occupants and taken to the territory of the Russian Federation from temporarily occupied Mariupol, returned to her mother and father.

The girl's parents defended their hometown in the first months after the invasion, after which they were captured by the enemy army. Now the family has been reunited in Ukraine.
