"There is absolutely no doubt about it." Kallas tells under what conditions Ukraine can win the war with Russia

Allies can do much more to support Ukraine to help win the war against Russia. This position is beyond any doubt.

This was stated by the head of the European Union's diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, at the annual conference of the EU defense agency in Brussels. According to her, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin understands only the language of force.

"There is no doubt that we can do more to help Ukraine. With our help, they can win the war," Kallas emphasized.

She reminded that the European Union is quite strong, and its total economy is 17 times larger than Russia's. The EU must show Putin that he will fail and stop him before he "attacks any of us."

For her part, Kallas noted that the European Union has already provided Ukraine with 134 billion euros in aid, 50 billion of this amount has been allocated for military support. She also said that the number of Ukrainian military trained by EU countries will reach 75,000 by the end of January 2025.

In particular, the EU High Representative said that the 16th package of sanctions against Russia is currently being worked on and emphasized the need to make greater use of frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.
