Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, during a speech at the board of the Russian Defense Ministry, said that the West is allegedly "pushing Russia to the brink." He also emphasized that Moscow could not leave such actions unanswered.

His words were reported by Russian propaganda media. Putin also boasted about the successes of the "Special Military Operation" in 2024.

"In 2024, Russia liberated 189 settlements as part of a special operation," the dictator said.

He also discussed the tasks of strengthening the defense capabilities and development of the Russian Armed Forces. In particular, he emphasized the need to increase the production of drones.

According to him, at the beginning of the "special operation," there were difficulties with this type of weapon, but now thousands of drones are being delivered to the army every day. However, the dictator added that more and better UAVs are needed.

In addition, Putin said that Russia would allegedly begin mass production of new "Oreshnik" missiles soon.

Earlier, in an interview with OBOZ.UA, Israeli military observer David Sharpe expressed his opinion on how US President-elect Donald Trump can force Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to peace. According to him, Trump can use the "carrot and stick" method, creating a "lousy" alternative for Russia to end the war against Ukraine.

As a reminder, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev threatened that the Russian Federation would seize more territories. According to him, the aggressor state may get "new regions."
