Prime ministers of Italy, Canada and Belgium arrived in Kyiv on a visit: all details
On Saturday, February 24, four Western leaders arrived in Kyiv, namely the prime ministers of Italy, Canada, and Belgium. The officials aim to express their solidarity with our country on the second anniversary of Russia's invasion.
This was reported by Reuters. Thus, Giorgia Meloni (Italy), Justin Trudeau (Canada), and Alexander de Croo (Belgium), as well as the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv.
"Meloni, Trudeau, de Croo and von der Leyen arrived in the Ukrainian capital by train from neighboring Poland," the Italian government said in a statement.
Meloni is scheduled to hold a videoconference from Kyiv that day, which will be attended by the leaders of the Group of Seven major democracies. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also intends to join the discussion.
