Medvedev fantasizes about Ukraine's surrender after Trump's scandalous statements

Lilia RagutskaPolitics

Russia continues to dream of Ukraine's surrender. The start of negotiations with the Americans and recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump, in which he actually absolves Russia of responsibility for the attack and shifts it on Ukraine, the victim of aggression, seem to have inspired the aggressor state's leadership.

The current deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, fantasized about Ukraine's "surrender." In the pompous message typical for the former Russian president, he began to insult Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and French President Emmanuel Macron. The leader of the United States, which Medvedev had previously threatened with Sarmat intercontinental missiles and nuclear strikes, now received no harsh word at all.

Macron was the first to be targeted in Medvedev's post: the man who briefly replaced Russian dictator Vladimir Putin used quite an immature technique that is very common among pre-schoolers and, apparently, Russians, which is distorting the surname. Commenting on the French president's statements about the possibility of sending French troops as part of a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine, Medvedev referred to him as "some Micron."

The Russian official did not dare to mention Zelenskyy directly not only once, although the post is dedicated entirely to him. He only used derogatory epithets like "Kyiv scum", "clown on drugs", "creature," and many other. One of Russia's top officials probably decided to show which words are acceptable to use to describe the leaders of other states and which "leave much to be desired" in practice (Dmitry Peskov's earlier message to the "Kyiv regime").

Medvedev's latest spewing also finds room for old-fashioned Nazism, which Russians are guilty of themselves: he accused the entire Ukrainian nation of having "typical Bandera pathology" and once again declared Ukraine a "non-existent country" and "former Ukraine."

As we noted, the former Russian president did not use a single harsh word against the new leadership of the US, which Medvedev had been threatening with "apocalypse", nuclear strikes, and other "peace efforts" for years. On the contrary, he lashed out at Zelenskyy, who allegedly "deceived" Trump, "supported Biden," and is now "being desperately rude to the entire new team."

And at the end of his text, which was rich in inacceptable rhetoric, Medvedev voiced the main idea that warms the hearts of all Kremlin representatives after the new shift of US foreign policy: Ukraine, he said, should surrender. And it should do so with maximum humiliation, agreeing to all the demands of Russia, whom Ukraine's main ally, surprisingly, has been supporting in a number of ways recently.

"This non-existent country and its current neo-Nazi regime? They have two options. The first is to fall at the feet of the Americans, covering them with passionate kisses, announce elections immediately and prepare for an unpleasant end to the war. Actually, to surrender. The second way is the best. To line the usual white powder on the table with a credit card and calm down, to accept yourself," he said, referring to the old fake about the "drug addiction" of Ukrainian President, who, unlike Medvedev, constantly appears in public and gives speeches to international audiences, looking completely sane and confident.

Earlier, Medvedev made a cynical statement about the ballistic missile attack on Kyiv. According to a representative of the aggressor state's leadership, this was a "response" to the Ukrainian president's statements that Kyiv was ready to exchange the part of Russian Kursk region controlled by the AFU for the occupied Ukrainian territories.
