WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) was sensationally knocked out by former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0KOs). The 37-year-old debutant hit his undefeated opponent in the 3rd round.

Fury was hit with a left side kick, after which he fell to the canvas. Hearing the referee's countdown, Tyson did not immediately get up. He was lying down for a few seconds and then got up to continue the fight.
