Maksym InshakovNews
The show is scheduled for December 21 in Saudi Arabia.

Turki Al Al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi General Authority for Entertainment, excluded Ukrainian WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchik (19-0, 9 KOs) from the Usyk vs. Fury 2 show. The grand event is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh.

A few hours earlier, Al al-Sheikh wrote on his social media account X that Berinchik was to defend his title in a fight with British Sam Knox on this boxing night.

This pair is not available in the updated version of the schedule. The reasons for the change are not yet known.

The main fight of the undercard of Usyk - Fury 2 remains the confrontation between Ukrainian Serhiy Bogachuk and British Ishmael Davis (13-1, 6 KOs). The 29-year-old Englishman replaced the representative of Uzbekistan, Israil Madrimov, who withdrew from the fight with our compatriot due to bronchitis.

As Alina Shaternikova, vice president of the National League of Professional Boxing of Ukraine, told Kyivstar TV, Denys continues to prepare for his next fight in the training camp.

It is planned that in February 2024, he will defend the WBO world title. The fight will take place in the legendary Madison Square Garden arena in New York, which is known for its historical significance for world boxing.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on May 19, Berinchik became the new WBO lightweight world champion. On the night of May 19 in the United States, the London 2012 Olympic medalist defeated the titled Mexican Emanuel Navarrete (38-2-1, 31 KOs).
