Ukrainian fighter of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Igor Poterya (20-5) suffered an unfortunate defeat in the United States. At the UFC on ESPN 52 tournament in Austin, the 27-year-old from Kyiv lost to debutant Rodolfo Bellato (2-1-0) from Brazil by knockout in the second round.

From the first minutes, Bellato started working as the first number, constantly attacking, but paying very little attention to his defense. The Ukrainian took full advantage of this. Ihor moved well in the octagon, delivering his counter punches to the opponent's head every time.

In the second round, the Brazilian fighter went on the offensive again, and almost paid for it. Poteria hit his opponent's head several times, sending him into a heavy knockdown.

The Ukrainian rushed to finish off Rodolfo, throwing a hail of hammers at his face. But the referee did not stop the fight, and our compatriot ran out of breath. Bellato managed to get up from the floor and then covered Igor himself.

This was his second consecutive loss in the UFC. His record in the promotion is now 1-3.
