28 Days Later (2002)
The movie has become a true classic of the genre. The British post-apocalyptic film by Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland has become a real milestone in the zombie movie segment. The film stars Cillian Murphy and Naomie Harris. "28 Days Later has a 7.5 rating on IMDb and was awarded the Saturn Award for Best Horror Film.
Animal rights activists break into a research laboratory to free experimental animals. As a result, a monkey infected with an unknown virus escapes. Suddenly, the country finds itself in the midst of a terrible epidemic that turns people into zombies. One of the infected ends up on the train where Su-an and her father are traveling. Now the passengers will have to fight for their lives, and the crowd of zombies is constantly growing.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015)
This is an interesting teen comedy about growing up, responsibility, friendship and trials. The director of the film is Christopher Landon, known for the thriller Paranoia (2007). On IMDb, viewers rated the movie with 6.3 points. The film stars Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller and Joey Morgan.
In the story, three Boy Scouts try to save the world from the zombie apocalypse. But the evil is spreading extremely fast, and the chances of salvation are getting smaller.
