The inexpensive Japanese SUV Isuzu D-Max, which is a competitor to Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi L200 and Toyota Hilux, has been awarded the best option for the most difficult conditions. Interestingly, this model was previously planned to be produced in Ukraine.
The details are available on the Japanese company's website. Isuzu D-Max Mudmaster is a special version of a practical and capable pickup truck. The vehicle has now become even stronger and more durable.
The vehicle was prepared for outdoor activities and travel in the most extreme conditions. Externally, the new Isuzu D-Max Mudmaster is distinguished by stickers on the body with the name of the modification, a snorkel for assaulting water bodies, additional lighting equipment and new wheel rims.

For off-road use, special tires and increased ground clearance have been added - now the ground clearance is 265 mm. The SUV is powered by a 1.9-liter diesel turbo engine with a capacity of 164 hp.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine plans to start assembling the Isuzu D-Max model at the facilities of the Ataman bus plant in Cherkasy. However, the degree of localization of the Japanese SUV production is still unknown.
