Undefeated Ukrainian boxer of Georgian descent Tsotne Rogava (10-0, 7 KOs) has won the vacant WBC title. The 30-year-old Zugdidi native defeated local fighter Alexander Flores (19-5-1, 17 KOs) by unanimous decision 98-91, 97-93 and 99-90 at the Pacific Palms Resort in Los Angeles, California.

Rogava captured the center of the ring from the first minutes, working as the number one. The Ukrainian combined punches to the head and body, forcing his opponent to go into a blind defense. The beating of the American continued in the second round. Flores defended himself with a high block, but it didn't save him from a knockdown in the final seconds.

The fall seemed to sober up the US representative. He began to attack dangerously, trying to stay in the center of the ring. By the 5th round, the initiative was already completely on the side of the US boxer. Tsotne missed a nasty spit that stunned him.

Toward the end of the fight, Rogawa found his second wind, having arranged a real chop with his opponent.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on April 13, Rogava (7-0, 7 KOs) left no chance for American gatekeeper Jesse Bryan (21-9-2, 16 KOs).

Rogava had his previous fight on March 24. Back then, it took the Ukrainian one minute to defeat American junior junior Antonio Brown (8-5, 8 KOs) .

Prior to that, Rogava easily dealt with American boxer John Shipman (5-6, 2 KOs) in the main event of the show at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto (USA).

In January, Tsotne went to the United States to fight in shorts with the inscription "Glory to Ukraine!" and left no chance for local boxer Dante Williams (4-1, 4 KOs), defeating him by knockout.

On October 2 of the year before last, Rogava defeated Demir Gulamicic (3-6-2, 0 KOs) from Bosnia in spectacular style, winning by TKO.

In May 2022, Rogava knocked out Michael Bassett (2-5, 2 KOs) from the UK.
