The iconic British car brand Mini has completed the design of the next-generation Cooper hatchback models, introducing a new convertible. Buyers are offered a choice of two transmission options and three levels of interior trim with a large selection of color combinations.

According to Top Gear, the updated model offers a wide range of features. The engines in the Mini Cooper are a pair of three-cylinder gasoline engines in two power ranges - "C" and "S". In the first case, we are talking about 161 hp, 250 N-m of torque, as well as 8.2 seconds of acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h and 220 km/h of top speed. The S variant improves this figure to 201 hp and 300 N-m, the acceleration to 100 km/h is reduced to 6.9 seconds, and the top speed increases to 240 km/h.

The company has also improved suspension and damping systems for this generation. Experts have already praised them for their functionality.

Speaking of the soft top, it takes only 18 seconds to open (and 15 seconds to close). You can do it on the go. If you open the top by 40 cm, it turns into a sunroof.

As for the interior, there are three trim levels to choose from. The Classic, Exclusive, and Sport versions come with different 16- to 18-inch alloy wheels and contrasting grille and brake caliper finishes. A range of patterns and colors are available for the dashboard and upholstery, and the 9.5-inch center OLED display can even be activated by voice.

The Mini offers 160 liters of boot space with the roof open (or 215 with the roof closed) and a tailgate that opens downwards for easier unloading. There is also a built-in rollover protection system hidden behind the headrests, which is activated simultaneously with the safety lock.
