The Security Service of Ukraine has served a notice of suspicion to another Russian commander who committed war crimes in the Kyiv region. The occupier received the 'Hero of Russia' award for the shooting of civilians in Bucha.

This information was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Among the victims of the crime are volunteers.

"The Security Service identified another Russian army commander who committed war crimes on the territory of Ukraine. It has been established that this person ordered the shooting of four civilians in Bucha. The perpetrator is Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Dosyagayev, commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 104th Regiment of the 76th Air Assault Division of the Russian Airborne Forces. After the invaders retreated from the Kyiv region, the highest military and political leadership of the Russian Federation awarded Dosyagayev the 'Order of Courage' and the 'Hero of Russia' star," the press service said.

In early March 2022, the attacker led the actions of enemy paratroopers who captured Bucha. His subordinate unit took an active part in the so-called 'cleansing' and filtration activities aimed at suppressing the resistance movement and intimidating the residents of the region.

During one of these punitive measures, on the orders of their commander, enemy paratroopers shot four civilians on the roadway for two hours. The victims included a local resident and three volunteers passing by in their own car. All victims died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds.

Based on the evidence collected, Security Service of Ukraine investigators notified Dosyagayev of suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war, which is combined with premeditated murder.

"We are currently verifying information about the possible death of Dosyagayev in the war in Ukraine. His death is not a reason to terminate the investigation and identify all accomplices and perpetrators of the crime," the Security Service of Ukraine emphasized.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Security Service of Ukraine served a notice of suspicion to a group of traitors who voluntarily defected to Russia in 2022 and fought against the Defense Forces in Donbas and Kharkiv. All four collaborators were captured by Ukrainian soldiers and now face life imprisonment for their crimes.
