Alexey Panin made disrespectful comments about Ukraine

The famous Russian actor Alexey Panin, who allegedly supports Ukraine and opposes the war, has proven that there are no "good Russians." The actor unexpectedly spoke disparagingly about our country. Speaking about why he does not want to live in Russia, the "oppositionist" said that he would not live in Ukraine for the same reasons.

Panin believes that in some ways Ukrainians and Russians are "one people." The controversial star made his statements in an interview for the YouTube channel "Immigration to the United States."

Panin went on to confidently say that he condemns the war in which Russians are brutally killing Ukrainians. At the same time, he says that both Russia and Ukraine are "the same."

"I don't want to live in Russia either with Putin or without Putin. Because I don't believe that the Russian mindset, the Russian people, will somehow change in my lifetime, that I will suddenly wake up in a country where I feel good. I am sure that there are people in America who will be unpleasant to me. But the percentage is different. In Russia, I feel the least pleasant. And I would not live in Ukraine either... In some ways we are one people, in some ways we are not," the actor said.

Panin came to such an absurd conclusion, allegedly because he has traveled all over Ukraine and therefore "knows" what he is talking about. Immediately after, the actor insulted the residents of Konotop, saying that the same kind of people lives there as in the cities of the aggressor country.

"I have traveled all over Ukraine. The people there are the same as here. I'm sorry, but in Konotop you will see the same as you will see in any Russian city," the "good Russian" said.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Panin explained why he was running around with the Russian flag in 2014 and shouting: "Crimea is ours." According to the star, he sincerely believed in the desire of Crimeans to join Russia, because he "drank vodka" with such collaborators. Read more in our article.
