The long-awaited low-cost Kia EV4 model for the 2026 model year is being prepared for debut. The electric alternative to the VW Golf was shown in live photos before the premiere.

Details are reported by Carscoops. The inexpensive Kia EV4 electric car is already undergoing road tests. Earlier, a camouflaged sedan appeared on the street, which corresponds to the EV4 concept in its design. However, Kia has prepared another version of the car.

A hatchback will also enter the market, with which the company will expand its electric car lineup. It is still dominated by crossovers, but it turns out that the new Kia EV4 will be offered to buyers in two bodies to choose from.

Kia EV4 was previously shown as a concept. Despite the fact that the prototype is being tested with a camouflaged body, the model's design is no secret. The car looks very dynamic and compact.

The new Kia EV4 electric car will be powered by battery packs with a capacity of 58 to 77 kWh. That is, you can count on a range of about 500 km in the top version. It will be on sale from 2025 at an estimated price of $35,000.
