The entire civilized world is eagerly awaiting the death of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. The end of the regime should open a new page in world history.

Vega Investments even decided to make a movie about it. The official Ukrainian trailer for the satirical thriller Smert Putina (Official name: Putin; Eng: The Death of Putin) filmed by a Polish director has been released online.

Putin will be available for viewing in Ukrainian theaters on January 16. It is directed by Patryk Vega.

Deepfake technology helped to ensure the visual authenticity of the main characters. Vega even claimed that he maganed to obtain insider information from a psychiatrist who once worked with the Kremlin dictator.

In the film, Putin appears not only as a tyrant, but also as a weak, frightened man.

According to the director, working on the film was a real challenge.

"The lack of access to real materials about Putin's life forced us to look for innovative approaches. We engaged experts in military affairs, quantum mechanics and architecture. In particular, I consulted with a NATO general who commanded troops in Iraq and Afghanistan," Vega said.

Despite the promising title, the film focuses not only on Putin's death.

The plot also tells about the main stages of the dictator's personality development. There will be stories from Putin's childhood and details of his rise to power. The main storyline should focus on the establishment and maintenance of an authoritarian regime in Russia, as well as the war in Ukraine. Therefore, the film goes beyond the story of one person.

Slawomir Sobala, who is also called "Putin's double," plays the monster himself.

Patryk Vega hopes that the film will give Ukrainian viewers hope and faith in victory.

By the way, experts say that it is the look-alikes who appear at official meetings and attend various events in Russia on behalf of Putin, not the dictator. Earlier, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov noted that the presence of "clones" can be confirmed even by comparing their appearance at various events: the "Putins" have different facial features, facial expressions, gait, manner of speaking, and height.
