Space miracle or optical illusion? Seven suns have been spotted in the sky over China

Stunning video of seven suns shot by a woman in China. In the network, the video immediately went viral, and commentators said that the Chinese woman recorded a cosmic miracle.

A Chinese woman known as Wang was filming the sunrise from the eleventh floor of a hospital in Chengdu, China. Suddenly, she saw not one but seven suns in the sky in the image.

The woman posted the video online in hopes of finding an explanation for her incredible footage. The video immediately gathered thousands of views. People put forward different theories.

"This was due to a magnetic field malfunction that made parallel universes manifest," wrote one commenter on Chinese social media platform Weibo.

Others claimed on Reddit that the fragmented suns were a sign of China's "huge pollution," while another girl wrote, "The truth about global warming has finally been revealed."

There were some who recalled Chinese mythology, where the archery god Hou was sent from heaven to help people. He stopped 10 suns from burning the Earth.

However, there are scientific experts among the commentators who have solved the amazing mystery of the Sun's "multiplication": "This is caused by reflection/refraction in the glass of a multi-pane window. Light from the Sun is reflected between the layers, causing a clear visual separation of glare."

Scientists say that light is refracted and reflected by the multiple layers of glass, with each layer creating another copy of the image. Therefore, with the exception of the brightest Sun in the center, which is real, the others are part of an optical illusion.
