In November 2024, it is important to take into account the phases of the moon to effectively plan your gardening activities. The New Moon falls on November 1, and the Full Moon on November 15.

The periods of the growing moon will last from November 2 to 14, and the waning moon from November 16 to 30. The most favorable days for sowing are November 3-7, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18-20 and 26-29, according to Baileys Fertilizer, a specialized publication.

On these dates, you can plant vegetables, root crops, and ornamental plants. On November 1, 2, 8, 9, 16, and 30, it is recommended to avoid sowing.

In November, the key autumn tasks are completed: collecting fallen leaves, digging up the soil for pest control, pruning trees, and preparing seedlings.

The best dates for planting potatoes, carrots, and beets are November 18-25, and for tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers, November 3-10. You can also plant berry bushes and fruit trees during this period.

Sowing of ornamental flowers is better to plan for November 3-7 and 10-15, and for bulbous and tuberous flowers are suitable November 17-19 and 23.
