On Friday, December 20, Russian shelling damaged the premises of several embassies in Kyiv. These are the diplomatic missions of Albania, Argentina, Palestine, North Macedonia, Portugal, and Montenegro.

This was announced during a briefing by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhyi, Radio Liberty reports. There was no information about injuries among the diplomatic staff.

"Today in Kyiv, several embassies were damaged as a result of shelling (by the Russian Federation – Ed.). All of these embassies are located in one of the buildings that was heavily damaged by a Russian missile strike. These are the embassies of Albania, Argentina, Palestine, North Macedonia, Portugal, and Montenegro," Tykchyi said.

According to him, windows and doors were smashed and fragments of the ceiling were damaged in the premises of diplomatic institutions.

As a reminder, in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, residential buildings and office buildings were damaged as a result of a rocket attack by Russia on the morning of Friday, December 20. Unfortunately, there are injured and a dead person.
